About Ushi
Ushi’s passion for design started in early childhood while getting a front row view of design and new construction projects. After graduating from The University of Michigan, her career path started in public relations and marketing while studying design in the evenings and weekends. A few curves in the road, including a move to the west coast and starting a family, eventually led her to open her own residential design firm, Ushi Schick Interiors.
Living in the Bay Area for the past 14 years, Ushi is heavily influenced by the laid back California lifestyle. She is a firm believer in blending styles, mixing materials and layering textures to create curated, warm and inviting spaces. Each project aims to be a true reflection of a client’s individual needs and style.
Ushi lives in Mill Valley, CA with her husband, two children, and one sweet little pup.
